Ernteanteil is a share book for members of community-supported farms. It is built to work entirely on your device. The app does not create an account for you, does not run its own server, and does not send the crates, recipes, field days or notes you enter to us or to anyone else.
Everything you enter — your crate lists, pickup history, field‑day and depot‑shift log, farm and depot details, saved recipes and any photo you attach to a week — is written to a database and an image folder that live only inside the app's own storage on your iPhone or iPad. None of it is uploaded anywhere. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
We do not operate a backend for this app. There is nothing for us to receive, store or lose on a server, because nothing leaves your device.
If you choose to photograph the crate list pinned at your depot, the app asks for camera access at that moment and reads the picture on your device to recognise vegetables and quantities. The photo is processed on‑device and is only kept if you choose to attach it to that week.
If you choose a picture from your photo library instead — for the same crate‑list reading, or to attach a photo of your own crate to a week — the system picker is used, which does not require us to ask for library access or see the rest of your library.
Neither the camera nor your photos are accessed unless you start one of these actions yourself.
If you turn on a crate‑day reminder or an evening cooking nudge, the app asks for notification permission at that point and schedules the reminder locally on your device. We do not use a push‑notification service and no notification content is sent anywhere.
Links to your farm's own news page or crate‑list page, and to public pages of Solawi, AMAP and CSA networks, open inside the app in a simple web view so you never have to leave Ernteanteil. These are ordinary web pages belonging to those organisations; visiting them is subject to that organisation's own privacy practices, not ours. The app itself does not add tracking to these pages, and never asks you to sign in or create an account inside that browser.
None. Ernteanteil does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data, usage data or diagnostic data to us or to any third party. There is no advertising identifier, no analytics SDK and no crash‑reporting service bundled with the app.
Ernteanteil is a general‑audience utility and is not directed at children. Since no data is collected by the app, no personal data from any user, including children, is gathered.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "last updated" date.
